What should I do if I encounter a maintenance issue?

If you experience a maintenance problem, submit a maintenance request through the Tenant Portal. For emergency maintenance needs, such as plumbing leaks or no heat, please call our 24-hour helpline immediately.

Can I renew my lease once it’s up?

Absolutely! Lease renewals typically begin 60 days before your current lease ends. We’ll contact you with details and options, but feel free to reach out to us if you have questions or would like to start the process early.

How do you handle rent collection?

We use an automated online system to make rent collection simple for tenants and property owners. Tenants can pay electronically, and property owners can monitor payments through their Owner Portal. 

What happens if tenants don’t pay rent on time?

We handle late rent situations professionally and efficiently. Tenants are sent reminders and notices as needed, and we follow the lease agreement terms to address late payments. Our goal is to resolve issues and minimize disruptions for both parties.

How do I request updates about my property?

You can access real-time updates and financial records anytime via the Owner Portal. Additionally, our team is always available to provide personalized updates if you’d like a detailed report.

About Us

In 1984 Doris Lambol founded our company, but why did she choose the name ‘Continental’? Being in real estate you tend to drive a lot and Doris was very fond of a Lincoln Continental she had at the time. As the company grew beyond those humble beginnings, the name stuck.

Today, Continental Realty, Inc. is still a family-run business managed by her daughter April and Granddaughter Shanna. Together they oversee 600+ rental properties throughout central Alabama. Continental Realty, Inc. manages both single family and multi family dwellings. We handle everything from maintenance and repairs to billing and rent collection.
